Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pullup ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the Pullup mobile application and website at pullup.ae (collectively, the "Service"). We have designed Pullup with privacy in mind: we collect as little personal data as possible and we do not sell your data.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information You Provide
Pullup does not require you to create an account to browse venues or initiate a call. If you contact us by email at hello@pullup.ae, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
b. Location Information
With your permission, the app uses your device's location to show nearby cafes and restaurants and to calculate distance. Location is used in real time to render the map and is not stored on our servers or shared with third parties. You can deny or revoke location access at any time in your iOS Settings; the app will continue to work using a default city view.
c. Device & Diagnostic Information
We may collect basic, non-identifying technical information such as app version, iOS version, device model, language, and crash diagnostics. This is used solely to maintain reliability and improve the app.
d. Calls and Orders
When you tap "Call to order", iOS opens your phone app and dials the venue directly. Pullup does not place the call, record audio, listen in, store the call, or have access to your call history or contacts. The call and any order placed are entirely between you and the venue.
e. Payments
Pullup does not process payments. Any payment is made directly to the venue at the time of pickup. We never see or store payment card details.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate and improve the Service.
- To show you nearby venues based on location.
- To diagnose crashes and technical issues.
- To respond to your support requests.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or behavioral tracking.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers. Limited diagnostic information may be processed by our infrastructure providers (e.g., Apple for crash reports if you opt in via iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements). Venue information shown in the app is publicly available.
4. Third-Party Services
The app may link out to third-party services such as the iOS Phone app, Apple Maps, Instagram, or a venue's website. Once you leave Pullup, the privacy practices of those services apply. We encourage you to review their policies.
5. Data Retention
Because we do not maintain user accounts and do not store location history, there is generally no personal data for us to retain. Support email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to assist you, and is deleted on request.
6. Children's Privacy
Pullup is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email hello@pullup.ae.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to follow industry best practices.
9. International Users
Pullup is operated from the United Arab Emirates. If you use the Service from outside the UAE, your information may be processed in the UAE.
10. App Tracking Transparency
Pullup does not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. We do not display the App Tracking Transparency prompt because we do not engage in tracking as defined by Apple.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Significant changes will be communicated within the app where appropriate.
